£100 For Signing Up!

Yes... that's amazing and true. If you sign your team up for our wonderful Relay For Life Stockport before the end of March, we'll give you a massive £100 to start off your fundraising. So get those friends and family together, decide on your team name and get signed up. This brilliant offer expires on 31st March - so team captains please register as soon as you can to take full advantage. Those who register before the Cancer Research Relay Showcase on 18th March (including the teams that have already signed up) will receive their £100 cheques that very night. What are you waiting for? Cancer Research UK are holding a special showcase evening just for our teams and survivors to say thank you for being involved, to show how your efforts are helping to beat cancer and to reveal the charity’s new brand! Name That Dog!

Relay Dog, as he is currently known, has been out and about around Stockport recently, even taking part in the assembly at Bramhall High School this week. So far he's got no name - we want to change that. Go to our Facebook page (see the link to the left) and give us your suggestions for a name. Best win prizes.

Well done to everyone who took part in Relay For Life 2012 - it was the biggest and best ever in Stockport. The final fundraising total was a fantastic £52,938.32. Well done to all of you. Get Ready For Relay 2013!

Put the date in your diaries - Relay For Life 2013 will take place on SATURDAY 29th and SUNDAY 30th JUNE 2013 at Stockport Rugby Club, Headlands Road (off Bridge Lane), Bramhall.

All you need is eight or more friends or family members to form a team, and you too can be part of Stockport's number one community event, a fantastic, fun filled, incredible 24 hours that's hard to match. These pages should give you some idea as to the brilliance of Relay - click on the links to the left for more information, watch the movies on the site (below and on other pages) and view the fantastic photographs of last years event to see what it's all about.

When you decide you want to be part of Relay, you need to sign up. Firstly the team captain has to register - click on the link 'Team Captains' in the list to the left and follow the instructions there. Then all the team members have to also sign up - if you're one of those just click on 'Team Members', choose the team you are part of and again follow the links.

Relay really is an incredible, emotional and wonderful experience. Don't miss it.
