The exploring comes directly from the EYFS curriculum which states that "children's play reflects their wide ranging and varied interests and preoccupations. In their play children learn at their highest level, play with peers is important for children's development." I am proud to say that the children are most happy when they are visiting somewhere new and when they are able to come back to the setting, see photos and talk about where they have been.
